There is something magical about freezing time. The giggles, the whispered secrets, the soft chaos that makes your family uniquely yours. Family sessions are not just about taking photos, it's about preserving the energy of a moment, the connection and the beautiful imperfections that define your story.

What to Expect During Your Session
When you book with me, we'll begin with a short planning process to get to know your family. Your vibe, your preferences and what kind of memories you want to remember most. From there, I'll guide you on location, wardrobe and timing to make sure your session feels smooth and meaningful.
During the session itself, there is no pressure to pose perfectly or smile on cue. I'll gently prompt you through natural movements( walking, playing, snuggling) while allowing plenty of space for spontaneous magic. Think of it more like a playful adventure rather than a formal photo shoot.
Location, Location, Location
My sessions can take place in a variety of handpicked outdoor and lifestyle locations that are chosen for their beautiful light and ambience. Whether it is the golden glow of a field at sunset, the texture of a rocky beach, the serenity of a woodland path or the coziness of in studio or at home, we will choose a setting that feels right for your family. If you are unsure what the vibe you are looking for is, I will suggest a few of my favorite spots based on the season and your vision. I always look for environments that allow children space to explore be themselves because, let's face it, that's when the good stuff happens.

How I work With Kids (and why it works)
Kids don't need to "behave" for beautiful photos. I promise. I work with your child's energy, not against it. If they are shy, we ease in gently. If they are wild and silly, we'll use that to our advantage. My sessions are always baby and kid led which means there's time and flexibility for snacks, snuggles, breaks and dance parties whenever needed.
I will often use games, movement and prompts to keep things light. I'm not looking for stiff smiles (although, we will always get those frame-worthy, looking at the camera shots too). I am looking to capture connection, personality and joy and sometimes the quietest moments end up being the most powerful.

Dress for Comfort (and Confidence)
Choose outfits that reflect your family's personality and makes everyone feel good. Coordinated doesn't mean matching. Think complimentary colors, soft textures and pieces that have movement. I am always happy to help style your session and send wardrobe inspiration and choices from my client closet that photographs beautiful and feels like you.
Prepare, But Stay Flexible
A few simple prep tips go a long way. Have everyone fed and rested. Pack a few snacks and bring anything that your child finds comforting such as a special toy or lovie. That being said, don't worry if someone has a meltdown or the wind blows your hair a little wild. That is real life and it's all welcome here. Some of the most heartfelt images come from embracing the unexpected.

Let Go and Be Present
Your only job is to show up and love on your people. Laugh, snuggle, move together, whisper a joke, dance in the grass, scoop up your child like you always do. I'll take care of the rest. Guiding, documenting and preserving that in-between magic that you didn't even know your wanted to remember.
Your family is already beautiful, right now, just as you are. This session is a chance to pause the noise, soak each other in and create something that will outlive the moment.
Ready to create something real, playful and full of heart? Let's make magic together.
